We need your help.
A Message from Our Founder
At the bottom of the world, we have been researching and monitoring penguin population on the Antarctic Peninsula for more than three decades.
Oceanites exists not only to make a difference and ‘save the penguins’ but to provide ongoing access to key data on the health of Antarctic ecosystems to advise the scientific and international community governing Antarctic fishing and tourism industries.
As a donor to Oceanites, you can be proud to know that supporting our work will allow you to contribute to the following:
🐧 Helping save Adélie and Chinstrap penguins from the threat of ongoing population declines and eventual extinction.
🐟 Promoting the conservation of Antarctica and other important marine protected areas to the global community.
🎓 Supporting educational outreach programs to better understand the more hopeful message of climate adaptation.
🌍 Upgrading the technology and infrastructure support to increase the reach and scope of Oceanites research with enhanced digital capabilities using drone and satellite imagery and image interpretation software.
And please do consider one of our new programs to enable you to either ‘adopt a colony’ as a sponsor, or even join us on one of our research vessels with our expedition partners. (Note: Colony adopters and expedition participants can enter their specific amounts here and write in the comment box, or contact me or your board member or Oceanites partner for details.)
Together, we can not only help save the penguins but provide a unique perspective on climate change and have an impact on the entire planet. I appreciate you being here,
Ron Naveen, Founder
